Paul Hart - Rest in Peace
The tragic death of Paul Hart has left us all shocked and saddened. We are still trying to process the news. It will take a while….
Paul dedicated his life helping and caring for others, especially those who had their own challenges. He was an extraordinary man. Kind, gentle, thoughtful and considerate.
As many of you know we had built the Legacy Moto brand some years ago and had been looking for premises in Worcestershire without much success. Last summer Paul telephoned out of the blue to tell us about his great work with the Malvern Bike Shed motorcycle project. We met Paul and knew straight away that this incredible man had to be part of whatever we did going forward. And so, very quickly, we became a team of three.
Paul became the driving force behind Legacy Moto. He re-energised us. He lived for Legacy Moto and spoke about the project to anyone he met. His infectious enthusiasm captured the hearts and minds of everyone, and it is down to Paul’s hard work, determination and wide network of friends that we eventually found our new home. Ironically confirmation on the terms for our new premises only arrived on Friday - the day of Paul’s passing. We did not have time to celebrate our good news.
Paul died as he lived, trying to help and support his friends. We have lost a brother and dear friend, and things will never be same without him.
Once in a lifetime, if you are very, very lucky, you meet someone like Paul Hart. We are all so fortunate to have known him and to be able to call him our friend.
